New retail center, drive-thru restaurant planned in Pasco County

A new specialty retail center with a drive-thru restaurant is being proposed on commercial land in Pasco County.

The project in New Port Richey would consist of nearly a 9,000-square-foot retail center with 44 parking spaces. The owner, Fadi Malki, confirmed to the Tampa Bay Business Journal that there is space for three retail tenants and one drive-thru tenant. Malki is looking for regional or national users to fill the spaces. The site previously housed a Mobil gas station with 12 pumps, Mobil Mart, a gun store, Malki Law Firm and Ace Cash Express. There was also a car wash next to the convenience store.
