20-story mixed-use tower on tap for downtown St. Pete's Edge district

The developers of a mixed-use development in St. Petersburg's Edge district are moving ahead with a second phase.

Plans for the Edge Collective’s second phase were approved by the Southwest Florida Water Management District on Monday. The second phase proposes four buildings on the 1100 block of Central Avenue. It will be adjacent to the first phase, which includes the Moxy Hotel and the office and retail building at 1246 Central Ave. Obtaining approvals from the water management district is often a first step toward beginning construction.
