'Dirty soda' chain Swig plans third Tampa Bay location

The “dirty soda” trend continues to bubble up in Tampa Bay with a third location on tap for Lutz.

Plans filed with the Southwest Florida Water Management District show a Swig Drinks will be built on a portion of a vacant, 3.3-acre site off North Dale Mabry Highway next to a proposed Chipotle. The site is in unincorporated Hillsborough County next to a White Duck Espresso, Wendy’s and Chick-fil-A. Water management district permits, like the one filed Wednesday, are often the first step toward new construction.
