Original developer sells Westchase Town Center to local investor

An iconic suburban retail center in Tampa has a new owner for the first time since it was built.

Westchase Town Center, spanning 58,000 square feet, was owned and developed by Alan Charron for close to 20 years. He acquired the site in 2004 as part of the Westchase master-planned community in north Tampa for $989,300, according to Hillsborough County property records.
