Developer moves forward with 20-story tower in St. Pete

A St. Petersburg developer is moving forward with construction on a 20-story residential tower in downtown.

DevMar Development received approval on a permit for its project called Sky St. Pete from the Southwest Florida Water Management District on Friday. The developer has planned to build a 20-story residential tower on several parcels off Burlington Ave. N since 2022. The approval is a first step toward construction of the 246-unit project.
