St. Pete apartments sold for nearly $100 million

A 300-plus-unit apartment complex in St. Petersburg has sold for nearly $100 million.

Madison Gateway Apartments at 500 Trinity Lane N sold for $97 million, or $308,917 per unit, on Tuesday. An affiliate of Pennsylvania-based Equus Capital Partners sold the property to Boston-based TA Realty. A mortgage has not yet been recorded, and recorded sales prices do not always reflect the entirety of a multifamily property transaction.
