A downtown St. Petersburg bar and restaurant could be evicted from the Kress Building.

Kress Building ownership filed a lawsuit in Pinellas County Circuit Court to evict Concrete Jungle, a Tulum-inspired bar and restaurant that Stephen Schrutt’s Hunger Thirst Group opened in 2023 at 475 Central Ave. Schrutt, a St. Pete restaurateur, has opened several restaurants and bars in downtown St. Pete, but in the last few months, two have closed — The Avenue in February and No Vacancy in July. Concrete Jungle owes $104,732 in unpaid rent.
