St. Pete's beloved Moon Under Water returns, but with a catch

After a four-year hiatus, a beloved St. Petersburg British pub will return — this time to Beach Boulevard instead of Beach Drive.

The Moon Under Water, the British pub formerly located at 332 Beach Drive, served St. Pete for 20 years before closing its doors in February 2021 due to the pandemic. Now, the pub’s former executive chef, Mike Crippin, his wife, Alison, and Kevin and Jeanne Milkey, who own Grand Central Brewhouse, will bring back the nostalgia of the Beach Drive location to 2832 Beach Blvd. S in Gulfport with some fresh ideas.
