Former FDIC chairman's Sarasota home listed for sale at $26 million

A Lido Shores home is on the market for nearly $4,000 per square foot.

A 6,862-square-foot waterfront estate and the adjoining vacant lot were listed for $26 million on Aug. 21. The two parcels at 1209 Westway Drive offer 250 feet of waterfrontage. There’s also an option to acquire an additional, adjoining lot off-market for $11 million that would bring the property to over an acre with 375 feet of water frontage.
