Landmark Properties to build 807-bed student housing near USF

An Athens, Georgia-based student housing developer has closed on a site near the University of South Florida, where it plans to build a six-story community.

Landmark Properties, in a joint venture with Dallas-based Canyon Partners Real Estate LLC and Miami-based Peninsula Investments, purchased the 4.31-acre site at 2700 University Square Drive in Tampa. A sales price was not disclosed, and a deed has not yet been filed in Hillsborough County.
