330-acre mixed-use project in Pasco County lands key financing

The developers of a mixed-use community in Pasco County have landed $34.3 million in financing to move the project closer to vertical construction.

Legacy Development Partners and Bones Investment Group, master developers of the 330-acre Abbey Crossings, secured the loan from The Ardent Cos. The money will be used for “horizontal construction, which includes delivery of the outparcel pads to users,” as well as intersection improvements and a traffic signal at State Road 52 and Monserratt Way, said Ken Morin, who owns Legacy Development Partners with Bryan Sykes. Teal Henderson is CEO and co-founder of Bones Investment Group.
