Florida investors buy retail condo in downtown St. Petersburg

A Miami-based real estate investment firm has acquired the retail space in downtown St. Petersburg where Ford’s Garage is located.

Torose Equities, in partnership with RKG Holdings and HSH Holdings Co., acquired 200 1st Ave. S. in the heart of downtown St. Pete for $6.125 million. The 9,700-square-foot property, anchored by Ford’s Garage, was fully leased at closing. The new ownership has secured Aji Ceviche, an upscale Latin American concept, to lease the rest of the space.
