Clearwater pauses vote on Church of Scientology’s downtown road purchase

Clearwater City Council has delayed a vote to sell a portion of a downtown road to the Church of Scientology.

At the April 3 meeting, public comments lasted for over three hours, including over a dozen members of the public who overwhelmingly spoke out against it.
