St. Pete fintech firm moves headquarters to Water Street Tampa

A financial services company that’s been headquartered in St. Petersburg for over 40 years has signed a deal to move to Sparkman Wharf in Water Street Tampa.

Velera, a credit union service organization and financial technology solutions provider, has leased 30,251 square feet in Sparkman Wharf. The lease includes the space that is home to Water Street developer Strategic Property Partners’ headquarters; to make way for Velera, SPP is moving to office tower Thousand and One, which is in the heart of the Water Street district.
