Mike Connor envisions a new future for Sundial

Sundial in downtown St. Petersburg is on the brink of a new era, one that part-owner Mike Connor believes will elevate the property to one of the city's premier destinations.

There are still hurdles to overcome — empty storefronts need to be leased up, the outdoor bar and patio need to be furnished, and the legal battle with a neighboring movie theatre needs to end — but the potential is there following an approximately $5 million renovation to the courtyard. Paradise Ventures, which Connor leads, and Ally Capital Group purchased the shopping, dining and entertainment plaza in 2022.
