Liberty Group's hotel plans move forward after judge's ruling on Tampa rezoning power

A Hillsborough County judge has signed a written order confirming a ruling challenging Tampa City Council's rezoning authority.

Judge Anne-Leigh Gaylord Moe issued a final judgment on one count on Dec. 19 in the lawsuit between Tampa-based Liberty Group and the city of Tampa. The lawsuit began after the City Council rejected Liberty's planned boutique hotel on Harbour Island.
