AdventHealth buys 200 acres in Lakeland

One of Tampa Bay's most active health systems has purchased over 200 acres in Lakeland where it plans to build a full-service hospital.

AdventHealth, based in Altamonte Springs, paid $14 million for an assemblage of 218 acres in the vicinity of 3838 Harden Blvd. in South Lakeland, according to Polk County property records. The land sale closed on Nov. 25.
