Midtown East, home to TECO's new HQ, lands insurance company as tenant

Midtown East, the office tower that will be home to the joint headquarters of Tampa Electric Co. and Peoples Gas, has landed another new office tenant.

Energy Insurance Mutual Limited, which provides insurance and risk financing for companies in the energy sector, has signed a lease for 16,224 square feet in Midtown East. The company will vacate nearly 12,000 square feet in Bayport Plaza, an office complex in Westshore.
