Developers vie for mixed-use affordable housing site in south St. Pete

The city of St. Petersburg is vetting three proposals for an infill affordable housing opportunity on 22nd Street South.

The city-owned site totals 0.68 acres and has a market value of $885,000, per the city’s most recent appraisal. It was home to the historic Merriwether Building until Hurricane Irma wrecked its foundation.
