Habitat for Humanity plans St. Pete project at the site of former Episcopal church

Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside is under contract on the site of a former church in St. Petersburg.

St. Bede Episcopal Church, just west of the Greater Woodlawn neighborhood, has been demolished and could one day be home to up to 39 affordable units. Habitat for Humanity expects to close on the land in early March 2025 at a price of $1.4 million, president and CEO Mike Sutton said.
