Charleston builder specializing in built-to-rent properties opens Tampa office

A Charleston, South Carolina-based builder that specializes in a growing niche of rental properties has opened a Tampa office.

Center Park Group's East Tampa office is currently a two-person operation: Andy Kern, Florida division president, and Brandon Gallagher, vice president of operations for Tampa, are the builder's employees for now. Eventually, Kern said the Tampa office will be home to some project managers and superintendents, but the majority of CPG's Tampa workforce will be construction workers. Permitting and procurement are handled at CPG's South Carolina headquarters.
