Darryl Shaw's defense-focused office space moves forward in new location

Ybor City developer Darryl Shaw is moving forward with plans for specialty office space for government and defense contractors — but the concept has moved several blocks away from its original location into the heart of Gasworx. The original plans for Collaborative Werx, an office building with specialized, secure technology infrastructure, went public in 2022. At that point, the project wasn't in Gasworx, and Kettler, the D.C. development group that is Shaw's partner in Gasworx, was not involved.
