31-story AER Tampa opens in downtown's River Arts District

An apartment tower that took nearly a decade to build has opened, marking a landmark addition to Tampa’s skyline.

AER, which stands for Arts and Entertainment Residences, is a 31-story apartment tower at 300 W. Tyler St., between John F. Germany Public Library and the Straz Center. It has 334 units with one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 770 to 1,636 square feet.
