Orlando firm snaps up 20 acres from Citigroup for East Tampa industrial complex

Foundry Commercial has acquired nearly 20 acres from Citigroup Technology Inc. and plans to build a 262,000-square-foot industrial complex in East Tampa.

The Orlando-based firm paid $8 million for the vacant land, according to a Hillsborough County deed. The assemblage is split between two parcels, one on the southwest corner of Falkenburg Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard and the other on the northwest corner of Falkenburg Road and Broadway Avenue.
