RETURN TO NEWS INDEX ReadySpaces expands to Tampa, opens third facility in Florida The new 130,000-square-foot space is the third facility in Florida and is designed to cater to the needs of small to medium-sized businesses and startups in the area, according to co-founder and CEO Kevin Petrovic.
“We’ve got approximately 130 spaces in this building, from the size of a single-car garage to about 30 times that size,” Petrovic said. “There’s a really good variety and room to start small and grow as the business grows.”
ReadySpaces was founded in 2016 and has grown to 37 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Each location provides private and shared spaces equipped with modern amenities, all supported by an on-site team.
Petrovic said the location is also intended to benefit businesses involved in shipping, logistics and distribution by providing access to essential transportation networks.
The new facility is strategically positioned near major highways, including Interstate 4 and Interstate 75 and is 10 miles from Port Tampa Bay.
“Expanding into Tampa is a significant milestone for ReadySpaces,” Petrovic said. “We recognize the city’s dynamic business environment and are excited to offer a solution that provides flexibility, scalability and a supportive community for entrepreneurs and businesses alike.”
As for how the Los Angeles-based company will differentiate itself within the Tampa Bay startup community, Petrovic said it’s about operational support and location.
“We’re not just offering space; we’re building a community where businesses can connect, collaborate and grow together,” Petrovic said. “Our flexible terms and comprehensive services are designed to remove barriers and empower businesses to focus on what they do best.”
Currently, ReadySpaces has 3,500 customers across all its locations. Petrovic said the Tampa expansion is a nice “jumping-off point.”
“Businesses can start small, low risk and expand their business from maybe their existing location in Dallas, say, to this new market,” Petrovic said. “We’ve had a lot of requests and seen some strong demand for this metro, and so we’re excited to finally be able to offer that solution to our customers.” |
