A speculatively built mansion on the St. Petersburg waterfront has sold for nearly $10 million.

Stallion Properties sold the Snell Isle estate to a private trust for $9.65 million, according to Pinellas County property records. A mortgage for the sale hasn't been filed.

The transaction represents Pinellas County's third-largest residential home sale in 2024, according to data from the Multiple Listing Service.

The approximately 7,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms, seven full baths, two half baths and a four-car garage. According to a listing, it was built in 2023 with flood risk reduction and optimal insurance premiums in mind.

Featuring 100 feet of water frontage, the backyard offers a covered entertainment area, outdoor kitchen and an infinity-edge pool and spa area with marble pavers overlooking the downtown St. Pete skyline.

The property was listed and sold by Jennifer Zales, Alexis Logan and Carol Fasick of Coldwell Banker. Coldwell Banker represented both the buyer and seller.

Zales declined comment on Tuesday.

The Snell Isle neighborhood is a hot spot for high-priced transactions. In May, a 5,105-square-foot waterfront home sold for $9.6 million — a record price per square foot for Snell Isle. A nearby vacant lot also sold for $5.7 million this year.
