Waterfront home in St. Pete’s Bayway Isles sells for $6.6 million

A waterfront home in the Bayway Isles neighborhood of St. Petersburg has sold for $6.6 million.

The 5,442 square-foot home, located at 5335 61st Ave. S, sold on April 1, according to a deed filed in Pinellas County. The seller was a private trust and the buyers were Danae and James Hill. The sales price breaks down to approximately $1,213 per square foot.

Rhonda Sanderford with Coastal Properties Group represented the seller and Karen Eisenbrei with Charles Rutenberg Realty represented the buyer.

The home includes four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a three-car garage. It also includes a custom lift. The home was built in 2019 and sits on a 0.32-square-foot lot.

Attributes include custom iron and glass double doors, high-end finishes and smart home technology and expansive rooms with walls of breakaway sliders. The great room has a wall-to-ceiling stone fireplace and a wine bar. The kitchen has double islands, high-end appliances and a walk-in pantry.

The home also includes a den with a wet bar, a home office, an owner’s suite with waterfront views and a game room with a wet bar.

Outdoor amenities include an infinity pool, an outdoor fireplace, a private boat dock with a 40-foot water slip, a lift, and electric and water utilities.

Bayway Isles is a gated community that is comprised of two islands in southwest St. Petersburg. The property is roughly three miles from the Don Cesar on St. Pete Beach and is 15 minutes from downtown St. Petersburg.
