Venetian Isles waterfront home sells for $5.3 million

A waterfront home in Venetian Isles in St. Petersburg has sold for $5.3 million.

The just over 5,000-square-foot home sits on a 0.25-acre lot on a cul-de-sac located at 1915 Carolina Ave. NE. The home was built in 2021. The sale closed on April 4, according to a deed filed in Pinellas County. The sale price breaks down to approximately $1,054 a square foot.

St. Petersburg-based broker associate Carol Fasick-Joyce and real estate consultant Alexis Logan of The Dynasty Group at Coldwell Banker Realty represented the seller. Marci Carter with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty in Sarasota represented the buyer.

Pinellas property records show the seller is Vincent and Claudine Coppola; the buyer is a private trust based in Philadelphia.

The five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath home has 91 feet of deep-water frontage, a private dock with a 13,000-pound boat lift, a raised sea wall and approximately 1,400 square feet of outdoor living and entertaining space. Each of the five bedrooms features ensuite bathrooms and walk-in closets. The property also includes a three-car garage.

Logan told the Tampa Bay Business Journal the home’s open layout provides a significant amount of natural light and offers water views from nearly every room. It also features floor-to-ceiling windows in the family room. The home had a large amount of entertaining space — both indoor and outdoor — including a giant island, large dining room, outdoor kitchen and an outdoor gas fire pit.

Fasick-Joyce said they are still seeing a majority of out-of-state buyers coming to the area looking for luxury living. However, she said they have been “very impressed” with the number of local buyers that have begun to enter the market.

“Everything that we’re reading and hearing during our networking with people who work with high net worth individuals is that they still feel like real estate is a solid investment,” Fasick-Joyce said, “especially luxury real estate in Florida.”

The home has hurricane-impact windows, and the outdoor space includes artificial turf, lush landscaping and a heated infinity-edge saltwater pool with a sun shelf. The home also has an entertainment/family room with built-in cabinetry and a wine refrigerator.
