Sweetgreen to open in Hyde Park Village

Sweetgreen will open its second Tampa location on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles-based salad chain said it will open in Hyde Park Village at 722 South Village Circle, adjacent to Salon Norrell Aveda. The city's first Sweetgreen opened on the ground floor of The Pearl, the apartment building that's part of The Heights, in late 2022.

The 2,310-square-foot Sweetgreen in Hyde Park can seat 12 people inside and 44 on the patio. For every meal sold Tuesday, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to Feeding Tampa Bay.

A third Sweetgreen is in the works in St. Petersburg's Edge district.
