RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Tarpon Springs foodservice warehouses sell for $3 million The warehouses, located at 110, 114 East Boyer Street and 301 S. Pinellas Ave., were sold to an entity based in New Port Richey, according to a deed filed in Pinellas County. Jim Georgeades and Paul Georgeades sold the properties. The deal closed on Feb. 10.
The three warehouses total just under 20,000 square feet — the largest being approximately 12,040 square feet, the adjacent smaller warehouse being 2,881 square feet and the warehouse across the alley being roughly 4,812 square feet, according to the property appraiser.
According to Jim Georgeades, they will be retiring, and the buyer will continue the business.
NNN Foodservice Solutions — formerly New & Nearly New Restaurant Equipment & Supplies — has been servicing the foodservice industry for more than 40 years, according to the company’s website. The company designs professional layouts of foodservice establishments that are “custom-tailored” to the client’s needs. It also delivers and sets up the equipment.
The company began in 1976, and in 1984 it began servicing Hooters Restaurants by designing and laying out the company’s first Clearwater restaurant, according to its website. It has serviced more than 450 locations to date.
In 1989 it began working with Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and has serviced more than 250 locations to date. The company has also served businesses like So Fresh, Red Mesa Cantina, Naked Farmer, Burger Fi, Big Storm Brewing Co., Craft Kafe and Hackett’s Causeway Café.
The warehouses are adjacent to South Pinellas Avenue and are approximately a mile from the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks and a mile from U.S. Highway 19 N. |
