RETURN TO NEWS INDEX SVN Commercial Advisory Group manages $17.5 million sale of industrial portfolio Mike Migone, CCIM, Senior Investment Advisor, represented the sellers, SRQ Industrial, LLC, and Industrial Boulevard, LLC. All the buildings were fully leased at the time of the sale.
The buyer, BA Acquisitions, LLC, plans to retain the tenants currently occupying these industrial buildings. Sudhir “Sid” Bhatt, CCIM, SIOR, Senior Advisor, represented BA Acquisitions.
“The buyer appreciated the location’s proximity to Sarasota and Bradenton, and the easy highway access off US 30,” said Bhatt. “That was a major draw. These properties are well-situated for industrial activity in a thriving area.”
The square footage in the five buildings totals 171,549, with an additional 48,800 of vacant land – a combination of more than 220,000 square feet.
Migone said the area’s flourishing market growth was an important factor in the sale.
“This is an area of Sarasota poised for continued growth, which means the availability of these properties was a prime opportunity,” Migone said. “Industrial properties like these don’t hit the market every day. This transaction was a win for everyone involved.” |
