A national aviation investor is marketing a portfolio of airport properties for lease across the U.S.

Four Florida airports are part of a 17-state portfolio that Cushman & Wakefield Inc. is marketing on behalf of Colorado-based Burrell Aviation, a division of The Burrell Group.

Burrell Aviation has partnered with Lemartec to develop the sites for build-to-suit projects "for a variety of non-passenger airport activity, including but not limited to air cargo, maintenance repair and overhaul, corporate hangar, aerospace and defense, integrated logistics, third-party logistics, cold storage and emerging technologies," Cushman said Tuesday.

The sites range from 4 to 120 acres, Cushman said, and "are intended to satisfy the shifting dynamics within the U.S. air cargo and logistics chain as well as the demands in corporate aviation and other aviation sectors."

“The U.S. airport system has a time-sensitive need for outside investment and focused attention on all areas of its non-passenger infrastructure," John Carver, Burrell Aviation CEO, said in a statement. "Our airport partnerships are designed to provide a means for delivery of next-generation facilities and address a needed component of the U.S. supply chain as a whole.”

Here's a list of the Florida properties (a full list of the available properties is below):

Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport, 86 acres

Ocala International Airport, 28 acres

Orlando Sanford International Airport, 36 acres

Tallahassee International Airport, 19 acres

Cushman's aviation practice group, which includes Kent Hindes, Dorota Skyzypek and Sean Kelly, is marketing the portfolio.

"Through long-term ground leases, Burrell Aviation has strategically obtained control of these prime land sites the past few years and during the pandemic, as focus on the U.S. supply chain and consumer reliance on e-commerce have taken off,” Hindes said in a statement.
