Coke Florida opens $10.2 million St. Pete facility

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida has opened its new sales and distribution center in St. Petersburg.

Coke Florida broke ground on the $10.2 million facility in 2019. The building at 9300 16th St. N is 22,000 square feet and will employ more than 140 associates. The distribution center will serve more than 3,500 customers.

Construction was delayed due to the pandemic, but the facility began operating on Dec. 5.

Coke Florida has 18 sales and distribution centers and four manufacturing centers, according to a release. It serves more than 47 counties, and its Tampa operations have supported St. Pete and Pinellas County operations since it was founded in 2015.

Coke Florida also has several community partners, including the Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity and the Urban League of Pinellas County, according to a release.
