Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos has sold off a waterfront lot on Davis Islands for $8 million in an off-market transaction.

Stamkos and his wife, Sandra, paid $5.4 million for 210 Blanca Ave. in December 2021. There was a 1960s-built home on the property that has since been demolished.

Ally Russell of Keller Williams Tampa Central represented the buyer in the transaction.

"Davis Islands continues to be one of the strongest markets to invest in Tampa Bay," Russell said. "These record-breaking prices for vacant land on DI is only the start to seeing more $20 million+ homes coming to market. ... Open bay on Davis Islands is one of the best pieces of real estate you can invest in."

Allan Mezrah of the Toni Everett Co. represented Stamkos.

"Davis Islands continues to be one of the hottest markets in Tampa Bay, attracting high net worth individuals, athletes and corporate CEOs from all over," Mezrah said. "Through my relationships, I am able to find and offer exclusive opportunities to my clients."

The Stamkoses are some of Davis Islands' biggest dealmakers. They also own 74 Bahama Circle, for which they paid $8.35 million in September 2021. They bought that house after selling 78 Martinique Ave. for $16 million in August 2021.
