Urban Air Adventure Park plans to expand in Tampa Bay

Unleashed Brand's indoor adventure park operator is expanding in Tampa Bay through a new franchise agreement that will open three new locations in the U.S.

The agreement is a partnership between Thomas Garcia, an existing Urban Air franchisee who operates two parks in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Littleton, Colorado and Greg Dunn, who has worked in the asset management industry for 25 years, according to a release.

The first park is expected to open in Salt Lake City in the next 12 to 18 months, followed by a park in Tampa Bay and another in the Salt Lake City region.

There are already four Urban Air locations in the Tampa Bay area — New Tampa, Port Richey, Lakeland and Brandon. A spokesperson for the company said they're searching for real estate for the new location.

"Urban Air is innovative in developing and cultivating its attractions to make it different from the competitors. I like that it's affordable for families and a repeatable experience that a kid will want to go back and do over again," said Dunn in a statement.

Urban Air includes over 20 different attractions, such as intense ropes courses, Urban Air's Sky Rider, battle beams, laser tag, dodgeball courts, electric go-karting and obstacle courses.
