Gulf front home in Longboat Key sells for $11.5M

A beachfront home on the Gulf of Mexico has sold for $11.5 million, becoming the third highest-priced residential sale in Longboat Key's history and the second-highest this year.

The 10,000-square-foot home is located at 3105 Gulf of Mexico Drive and features expansive windows, an elevated spa, a waterslide and a rooftop deck.

Team Dunn of Michael Saunders & Co. represented the buyers in the sale, which was the highest-priced sale for an agent affiliated with the company’s Siesta Key office.

The three-story home was listed for $12.9 million in June 2021 and includes limestone and wood flooring, a three-story curved staircase, a home theater, library, game room, sky lounge, seven-car air-conditioned garage, commercial-grade elevator and generator.

Earlier this year, a nearby Gulf of Mexico Drive home sold for $13.75 million, and in 2020, an estate on the southern end of Longboat Key sold for a record-setting $16.5 million.
