RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Largo apartments sell for $58.55 million The apartments at 401 Rosery Road NE were built between 1969 and 1989. There are 278 apartments at the complex, and the sale price breaks down to approximately $210,611 a unit. The sale closed on Nov. 2, according to a Pinellas County deed.
Public records show VQHS Waterchase LLC — the entity that purchased the apartments — also took out a $53.24 million mortgage with American National Life Insurance Co. of New York.
Waterchase Apartments feature studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Amenities include three pools, a fitness center, dog park, business center, hammock garden, game room, picnic area and a renovated clubhouse.
The apartments are near Largo High School and the Teakwood Village mobile home park. The complex has undergone a series of renovations over the past 20 years, according to the property appraiser's office.
The complex was last sold in April 2019 to a Texas-based entity for $32.3 million.
Less than 3 miles away, an affordable housing project is planned by Archway Partners — the umbrella company for Seminole Square Partners. The project at 2075 Seminole Blvd. is expected to be completed in 2024 and has received a series of investments from the city. |
