First-of-its-kind auto storage facility opens in St. Pete

Local EMT Roger Thrun has opened a first-of-its-kind auto facility in St. Petersburg, which features a combination of a luxury car storage facility, a detailing shop and a consignment seller.

The business at 1900 13th Ave. N in St. Pete will be one of the few places to store a luxury vehicle in the area.

Car Locker provides a secure, climate-controlled storage facility that sits 45 feet above sea level. The facility offers annual, six-month and month-to-month storage plans, according to the company’s website.

Additionally, the company will handle the marketing, negotiations and legal paperwork for car sellers, as well as storage and showcasing.

The third portion, auto detailing, will provide interior, exterior and engine compartment detailing services and is listed as coming soon on the website.
