RETURN TO NEWS INDEX 18-story luxury condo tower tops out in Sarasota The 18-story tower is located at 301 Quay Commons. It will bring 149 residences to Sarasota’s Arts and Culture District. Bayso is Kolter’s fourth tower in downtown Sarasota. It sold out in 2022, less than a year after its launch.
Bob Vail, president of Kolter Urban, said the project has experienced “overwhelming sales success.” The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2023.
“Sarasota is one of the most sought-after destinations in the country and delivers an uncompromising, contemporary lifestyle in the heart of downtown,” Vail said in a release.
Sales were led exclusively by Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. Kast Construction is the general contractor for the project. The tower was designed by SB Architects.
Bayso Sarasota has two- to three-bedroom units that range from 1,600 to 2,600 square feet. It has open-concept floor plans with den spaces and floor-to-ceiling windows. There are also seven penthouse designs that range from 2,500 square feet to 5,000 square feet. The penthouses have 12-foot ceilings and “long-range bay views."
Indoor amenities include a 2,250-square-foot fitness center with a glass-enclosed studio for personal training or group classes, a coworking space and a club room with a catering kitchen, bar and private resident boardroom. Outdoor amenities include a fifth-level amenity terrace with a splash lounge, pool, spa deck and outdoor kitchen.
