35-story condo tower in downtown St. Pete tops out

Saltaire, The Kolter Group’s luxury condominium tower in downtown St. Petersburg, has officially topped out.

The 35-story tower will have 192 units and is completely sold out nearly a year before its estimated completion.

Kolter is building Saltaire at 300 First St. S and Art House, a 42-story condo tower, at 200 Central Ave. Kolter also built the 42-story condo tower ONE St. Petersburg. Art House launched its sales in February and will break ground this month.

Saltaire was designed by SB Architects in an ongoing collaboration between the companies. SB Architects also worked with Delray Beach-based Kolter on 100 East Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale, ONE St. Petersburg and Art House. SB Architects and Kolter theme their projects around delivering resort-style living in urban environments.

“We are excited and proud to see Saltaire hit these important milestones, from the topping-out ceremony to selling all 192 units at this early stage,” SB Architects VP and Principal Pinar Harris said in a release. “It is an incredible achievement to deliver this project on time, especially considering Covid-19 impacts on construction, and we look forward to celebrating Saltaire’s completion next summer.”

The condos will have two to three bedrooms ranging from 1,663 to 2,712 square feet. Four-bedroom penthouses will also be available with up to 7,900 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space. Amenities like The Aire Club, a private oasis on the seventh floor that includes an Olympic-size pool with views of Bayboro Harbor, as well as a fitness center, club rooms and a dog park are on site. Saltaire will include more than 8,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
