RETURN TO NEWS INDEX The Shopping Center Group has acquired Southeast Retail Group Atlanta-based TSCG said Thursday that it has acquired Southeast Retail Group, which is based in Tampa and also has offices in Orlando, Winter Park and South Florida.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition expands TSCG’s third-party leasing by approximately 7.5 million square feet and increases property management by an additional 400,000 square feet. It also adds 12 new people to TSCG and more than 50 new retail and restaurants to the firm’s tenant service line.
Jeremy Kral, who founded Southeast Retail Group in Tampa in 2016, is now an executive vice president at TSCG. SRG partners and vice presidents Dana Dowsett and Eric Battistone will be vice presidents at TSCG.
In 2021, SRG’s Tampa office had a combined $128.2 million in sales and leasing volume. Its client roster includes Kimco Realty, Chipotle and Cava restaurants.
“We are delighted to bring together two culturally matched and operationally compatible firms,” David Birnbrey, co-CEO of TSCG, said in a statement. “This will result in an even more formidable, full-service real estate enterprise that stretches from Florida’s southernmost beach to the financial and cultural epicenter of the United States — New York City. Our proven approach highlighted by a client-first philosophy will be delivered by an even larger Florida team with expertise and integrity. There is immense power when a group of people with similar interests gets together to work toward the same goals.” |
