RETURN TO NEWS INDEX South Tampa apartments sold for $115 million Bleecker Hyde Park, a mid-rise wood-frame building on West Cleveland Street, sold to Dallas-based Conti Capital on March 9, according to Hillsborough County property records. At 259 units, the sales price breaks down to just over $440,000 per apartment.
500 Harbour Island, a 21-story concrete tower, sold for a record $440,212 per apartment in 2019.
The Bleecker seller was Raia Properties, based in New Jersey, which bought the complex for $64.5 million or $249,150 per apartment in 2017.
Chris Chadbourne and Brian Moulder of Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales represented Raia in the transaction.
The sale of Bleecker is the latest in a slew of nine-figure apartment transactions in the Tampa Bay region. Goldman Sachs paid $184 million for Nine15 in downtown Tampa, and suburban properties are trading for near-record pricing previously only seen in the urban core. |
