Pendry hotel-condo tower in downtown Tampa moves closer to groundbreaking

A 37-story luxury hotel and residential tower coming to downtown Tampa is seeing buyer interest and has plans to break ground this summer.

Pendry Residences Tampa has signed contracts with future residents totaling more than $75 million in the last 45 days, according to a release.

Pendry Tampa will feature 220 guestrooms and suites, as well as 207 Pendry Residences where homeowners will have a private residential lobby, elevator and rooftop pool. Buyers are securing residences across floor levels and styles, including several penthouses, the release said.

It is expected to open in spring 2025. The site has gone through many proposals over the years.

“We are seeing interested buyers from across the country who recognize the incredible experience of owning a home that includes all the benefits of living within a luxury hotel,” said Tina Necrason, executive vice president of residential, Montage International, in the release.

Starting in the $900,000s, the Pendry will offer full-service living ranging from one to three bedrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces.
