Benderson buys mixed-use commercial property on Siesta Key for $1.8 million

7978 CCB 14, LLC, a special purpose entity associated with Benderson Development, has purchased a mixed-use commercial property that includes retail space and residential units on Siesta Key for $1.8 million. The 9,458-square-foot property on .31 acres is located at 5214 Ocean Blvd. in Sarasota.

Jag Grewal, CCIM, SIOR, and Amy MacDougall, CCIM, of Ian Black Real Estate facilitated the transaction. The seller is SRQ Ocean Blvd, LLC.

“The popularity of Siesta Key makes this a valuable acquisition,” said Grewal, partner at Ian Black Real Estate. “There are few opportunities to purchase commercial real estate in Siesta Key Village such as this one, which is in an excellent location and has high visibility.”

The property includes a 2,141-square-foot restaurant space that is currently occupied by French restaurant Bonjour Fresh Café, two additional retail spaces, four vacant apartments and 16 parking spaces.

Benderson also owns a retail property adjacent to this property.

The buyer’s plans for the property are currently undetermined.
