Tampa restaurant company to open two new concepts in Hyde Park Village

The parent company of Steelbach, M. Bird and other well-known Tampa restaurants will open two concepts at Hyde Park Village later this year.

WS Development, the Boston-based developer of Hyde Park Village, on Friday confirmed that Three Oaks Hospitality will open two undisclosed concepts at 1500 W. Swann Ave. next door to Barry's Bootcamp.

Three Oaks is the parent company of several concepts that were previously under the BE-1 Concepts umbrella, including Ciro's and Stones Throw. BE-1 filed for bankruptcy to halt plans to develop a market-style food hall in St. Petersburg's Sundial.

“Hyde Park Village is pleased to confirm that two new concepts by the locally known and loved Three Oaks Hospitality will open at the property in late 2022," Nicole Dee, general manager at Hyde Park Village, said in a statement. "Three Oaks Hospitality is renowned for creating memorable restaurants and bars, and they share our passion for serving the Tampa Bay community.

"Their two upcoming concepts will enhance our existing mix of over a dozen food and beverage offerings, as well as add to our collection of locally-owned brands. We look forward to sharing more details in the months to come."

WS Development declined to disclose the square footage of the new concepts.

“We’re excited to be joining the Hyde Park community and look forward to sharing more soon,” Kyle Matos, chief marketing officer at Three Oaks Hospitality, said in a statement.
