Jupiter-based PopStroke Entertainment, owned by golf legend Tiger Woods and Greg Bartoli, broke ground Wednesday near Cypress Creek Town Center in Lutz.

This marks the third location for the brand in the Sunshine State, with the other two being in Port St. Lucie and Fort Myers.

The event was attended by co-founder Bartoli, president of TGR Design, Bryon Bell, Pasco County Commissioner Mike Moore, and Mark Stevens, president of Stevens Construction.

The company plans to open PopStroke centers at six other locations over the next 12 to 18 months, according to its website. These locations include:

Sarasota (opening in March)

Orlando (opening in April)

Delray Beach

Scottsdale, Arizona

Glendale, Arizona

Houston

The facility will feature Woods' TGR-designed 18-hole putting courses that will incorporate fairways, bunkers and roughs. The Tiger Course is designed to challenge experienced putters with strategically placed hole locations, while the Cub Course is for kids or new families interested in learning the sport, according to a release.

"Putting is a universal part of golf that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels," Woods said in the announcement.

Additionally, PopStroke offers a customized mobile app that allows customers to order drinks and food to be delivered to them anywhere on the course. The app also features the scores of the games and allows users to enroll in a loyalty program.
