St. Pete Beach villas sell for just under $4 million

A small hotel in St. Pete Beach along Sunset Way sold for $3.85 million.

St. Pete Beach Investments LLC, which is linked to real estate agent Dave Wonsick, purchased The Villas at St. Pete Beach, according to a deed filed Jan. 21. With 10 units on the property, the sale price breaks down to $385,000 per key.

The hotel is located at the intersection of 69th Avenue and Sunset Way and lies near Gulf Winds Resort.

The two-story hotel, located at 6901 Sunset Way, was built in 1950 and its units were fully renovated in 2019. The renovations concluded in November 2019, according to the property's website.

The property has a tropical pool deck and outdoor kitchen and features units ranging from studios to a two-story, two-bedroom beach house. The resort specializes in group and family vacation rentals, highlighting the opportunity for large groups to have a "private beach resort experience," according to its website.

The seller of the property, St. Pete Beach Suites LLC, owns St. Pete Beach Suites, which is located a block away. The Villas at St. Pete Beach is across the street from Upham Beach Park.
