Cushman & Wakefield Arranges $27.33M Sale on Behalf of Morris Realty Company

Cushman & Wakefield announced today the commercial real estate services firm has arranged the sale of McLane Distribution Center, a fully leased 211,113-square-foot distribution center located in Lakeland, Florida. The final sale price was $27.33 million.

Mike Davis, Rick Brugge, Rick Colon, and Dominic Montazemi of Cushman & Wakefield, with support from Zachary Eicholtz and Chloe Strada, represented the seller, Morris Realty Company, in the transaction. Brookfield Properties acquired the building.

“McLane Distribution Center is strategically positioned between the rapidly growing Tampa and Orlando markets and is a top location choice for regional distributors. The area also continues to attract both torrid users as well as investor demand due to growth in the frozen refrigerated sector,” said Davis.

Located at 2929 Old Tampa Highway, the property is strategically positioned between Tampa and Orlando with easy access to several of the state’s transportation arteries. The building includes clear heights up to 28’, 35’ x 40’ column spacing, and ample dock-high loading.
