Marina Bay 880, a $70 million luxury condo complex in Clearwater, has finished construction, and the first wave of residents have officially moved in.

Clearwater-based Andrus Development Group developed the condo complex along the intracoastal highway at 880 N. Osceola Ave. and said in a news release that of the “380,000-square foot project’s 87 total residences, only 22 residences are currently available.”

“Our sales at Marina Bay 880 have been phenomenal, and it is fulfilling to see all of the new homeowners excitedly moving into their new residences,” Brian Andrus, Andrus Development Group president, said in the release.

Andrus is also the owner of Clearwater-based Stonebridge Real Estate, which has been operating in Tampa Bay for nearly two decades.

Construction began in 2019 on Marina Bay 880, which features two eight-story buildings and a total of 87 condominiums. The residences are located above a shared 80,000-square-foot parking garage. The 22 residences still available are priced from the $700,000s to more than $1.9 million. Four units are three-bedroom plus den floorplans, and four residences in the Poolside tower are three-bedroom, two-bath.

Condo development has been a steady focus for developers recently in Tampa Bay. The Nolen, a condo tower in downtown St. Petersburg, is moving forward. And the 46-story Residences at 400 Central, also in St. Pete, is inching closer to groundbreaking.

Marina Bay 880 residences range from 1,815 to 2,809 square feet, and each has a water view and 173 to 989 square feet of outside space. Additional storage spaces and a limited number of two-car garages are still available, according to Andrus Development. Amenities include boat rentals at the neighboring marina, a private peninsula, a pool and spa, a fitness center and 69 adjacent boat slips, 47 of which have lifts.

There are eight townhomes wrapped around the adjacent marina, but those have been sold.

Naples-based DeAngelis Diamond was the builder “utilizing advanced coastal construction technologies designed to minimize environmental impact,” according to the release. The residences have all been elevated an additional 2 feet above future flood levels.
