Paddock1 bringing state-of-the-art luxury garage condos to Tampa Bay

Paddock1 will host a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday to unveil its plans for a new state-of-the-art luxury condo community in Tampa.

The gated garage community was inspired by the paddocks used to store race cars, trailers and team equipment. The idea behind the community is to be a place for car enthusiasts and other like-minded individuals.

Sean Murphy and Jordan Farrales, two Tampa natives, developed the project with the idea of making it easier for car collectors to store their vehicles while also owning the storage space. They say the project will be the first of its kind in the Tampa Bay region, offering a unique connection between social life and storage. The Motor Enclave also has plans to build a car condo development in Tampa.

Once completed, Paddock1 will offer its residents 61 customizable, individually owned garage condos ranging from 1,000 to 1,400 square feet.

The units will have a starting price of $255,000 and include features like pre-engineered climate control for the second-floor loft area, car lifts, finished bathroom and hurricane wind-rated storage space up to 150 mph.

“Lack of space is a source of frustration for car collectors and enthusiasts,” said Murphy. “We wanted a concept that not only provided a practical storage solution but one that also provided a social outlet for our community of owners here in Tampa Bay. We’re excited to begin our countdown to opening day and look forward to future expansion in both the Orlando and Atlanta markets.”

According to a release, the community will also include 24/7 security and video surveillance to help owners protect their investments. Additionally, the 3,000-square-foot clubhouse will have temperature-controlled private wine and cigar lockers, an owner’s lounge and bar area, a private conference room, a specialty showroom, and indoor and outdoor event spaces with a covered patio.

The property will be located at the corner of Adamo Drive and 34th Street and is 50% sold to date. The groundbreaking ceremony will include Mayor Jane Castor, Councilman Joseph Citro and Ybor Chamber President and CEO Lee Bell. The completion of the property is scheduled for early summer 2022.
